Hero Mages Android w Adobe AIR
This video showcases the latest build of the Hero Mages app for Android. Originally designed to be played on a Flash webbrowser, I have ported my game to mobile devices using Adobe AIR technology. The mobile version of Hero Mages supports all of the features currently available for the webbrowser version as well as 3 additional single-player modes including a story-driven tutorial campaign, quick battle, and custom battle. All of the features have been carefully redesigned with mobile devices in mind, including a pinch zoom and pan map, touch scroll combo boxes and UI components, and an intuitive double-tap command system. What’s more, the mobile version supports cross-platform multiplayer! This means that you can play against opponents on the web right from your phone or Android tablet. An iOS version of Hero Mages is also in the works and this will have the same cross-platform multiplayer capability. So whether you’re a PC gamer, Apple product owner, or fan of the little green robot, you’ll be able to play and enjoy the innovative turn-based strategy fun of Hero Mages! Hero Mages for Android is scheduled to hit the marketplace in the 4th quarter of 2011. The browser based version is currently available at www.heromages.com.

!! Supposedly HQ and the audio sounds bad if you skip ahead for some reason (YouTube’s fault not mine), so watch it in full, ya hear me? This had the resolution of a HD video (1280×960) but to keep within the 1gb upload limit, the kbps had to be around 700. That’s why I think it didn’t get it.
